Community members from all over Boston eagerly convened on Monday January 21st  in Faneuil Hall’s Great Hall to celebrate the life, work, and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King. The event was organized by the Mayor Thomas Menino’s Office of the Arts, Tourism & Special Events and the Museum of African American History. Local Bostonians commemorated MLK’s legacy while listening to several powerful speeches and readings by Pastor Gloria White Hammond, author & poet Regie Gibson, and Little Rock Nine student Ernest G.
