Aardvark Jazz Continues 41st Season with World Premieres by Mark Harvey

Praised for ”spirited composition and inspired playing” (Jazz Alchemist, Poland), The Aardvark Jazz Orchestra, one of the longest running large jazz ensembles in the world, will perform two premieres by founder/director Mark Harvey: Commemoration (Boston 2013), a tribute to the victims and survivors of the Boston Marathon tragedy, and Spaceways, celebrating the Sun Ra centennial on Saturday, April 26th at 8:00 PM. Also on tap: Harvey’s No Walls, selected as the official song for JazzBoston’s Jazz Week (April 21-30, 2014).     You’d think experience teaches us anything, but alas.
    Disagree if you will but the world changes, and none of us have no control over it.
